Before joining GM&T I studied for my MSc at the University of Edinburgh in environmental sustainability. The position that initially brought me to GM&T was advertised through the alumni of Imperial College London.

GM&T’s carbon team is at an exciting stage at the moment. Having been involved with the projects since day one I’ve been able to shape the way we manage the intake of projects, the international implementation process and ultimately the realisation of our profit – all for a portfolio spanning the globe and expected to generate millions of carbon credits. Being able to help shape our portfolio and improve my specific technical skills at the same time was a huge attraction for me when joining GM&T.

I really enjoy being able to innovate and solve problems. And because the culture at GM&T is that of a company striving for excellence, you’re never allowed to settle for the ‘next best’ solution. You’re always pushed to improve your performance, which is critical for a company on such a steep growth curve. Everyone’s really focused on their roles and what they need to do to achieve our targets. The team spirit and willingness to help each other creates a very collaborative culture at GM&T – and that really motivates you as an individual!
