Role objectives

Deliver the GM&T HR Shareholder Support strategy that enables the successful achievement of business goals and is aligned to GM&T’s group People strategy, including but not limited to:

  • Sustain of solid effective relationships with GM&T’s Parent Companies and their relevant departments and subsidiaries, primarily Gazprom Export HR Department and PAO Gazprom that position GM&T HR as a trusted commercial HR function that adds value to the Gazprom Group and operates within the governance set out by the shareholder/BoD
  • Represent GM&T for all HR Shareholder related activity regarding the formation, translation and interpretation of global HR polices, issues, data and people opportunities.
  • Support and management of all HR Shareholder information requests and data provision activities. Ensure that Global HR is fully aware of expectations, manage its responses that meet with these expectations and create the best outcome for GM&T.
  • Be responsible for the accuracy and quality of all HR Shareholder submissions 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Enable the work done by Global HR to be well represented at Gazprom Group level, timely and efficient response to requests, , and additional opportunities for further engagement are proactively identified
  • Accurate translation and/or review of all HR related documents, incoming from and outgoing to the Parent companies
  • Support the team with the open HR related recommendations of the Internal Audit and preparation of the HR materials for the Audit Committee meeting
  • Enhance relationship with the Internal Audit Department and Corporate affairs department to support interaction with parent companies on all related to HR matters
  • Effectively engage GM&T HR colleagues around shareholder enquiries , project managing all activities, communicating the requirements and clarifying requests, managing the response and format, timescales etc. and leveraging the expertise of other HR colleagues to meet shareholder requirements and contribute to their projects
  • Communicate and build engagement for HR Shareholder Support function within GM&T Global HR Manage Group HR related matters concerning GM&T Group appointed NEDs, Committee members and consultants, support this activity through the ExCom Office and Tax
  • Proactive management of BoD and CM payments – working closely with Payroll team, handling all issues and questions related to payments
  • Managing BOD and Committee members tax matters including the preparation of the Statements of Earnings, liaising with notary, gathering all tax documents throughout the year, working with the tax team to ensure the requirements of HMRC are met and all the documents are submitted on time
  • Manage consultants service agreements, arrange confidential payments of consultants’ invoices on a monthly basis
  • Protect HR confidential information such as remuneration, personal information, service agreements details etc. ensuring Gazprom is compliant with all data protection laws
  • Build appropriate dashboards that clearly articulate the performance of the HR Shareholder support team
  • Be accountable/responsible for the provision of data reporting to PAO Gazprom on behalf of the GM&T and its subsidiaries. Engage the other HR functions responsible for the provision of the statistical data and thoroughly understand and translate the request to those involved in data preparation
  • Accurate and timely support in preparation of DSD, making sure that the HR related data to be included in the DSD is reviewed and approved by HR person
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and HR Centre's of Excellence (HR Business Partnering, Capability & Reward, HRSS) to develop and implement appropriate solutions to parent company requests
  • Working closely with Resourcing manager to accommodate the internship requests coming from the Parent companies according to the respective immigration and visa requirements. Leveraging the current PAO Gazprom and Gazprom Export succession planning project (talent programme) for the benefit of the parent companies and ensuring the right understanding, buy in and necessary contribution from the key stakeholders especially HRBPs in delivery of this project
  • Proactive improvement of the current processes and procedures which will enable the function to run even more effectively and ensure alignment within GM&T Group and with the Parent companies, where applicable
  • Ensure appropriate governance of all HR processes, policies, terms of reference and procedures. These and any subsequent development must be aligned to GM&T and our ultimate parent company
  • Reviewing and formatting of the GMT Group Organisational charts on a regular basis by closely collaborating with HR Operations, ensuring corrections and improvements are taken on board

 

 

Skills & Competencies

  • A proven track record in HR is preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with other team leaders and functions at Gazprom
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, in both English and Russian
  • Pro-active in achieving results and seeking improvement
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to demonstrate tangible results
  • Ability to influence at multiple levels of the organisation including senior stakeholders – building confidence and trust
  • Pro-active in achieving results and seeking improvement
  • Thrive in a changing and challenging environment
  • Competent user of HRIS (SAP preferred) and Org Vue

Experience

  • Excellent command of English and Russian
  • Understanding of the Russian culture is essential
  • Experience in trading, finance and customer centric organisations

 

Education

  • University degree qualified, Masters degree preferable
  • Project management qualification desirable
