• Work with HR colleagues and key stakeholders in the business to develop and implement a Learning and Development provision designed to support GM&T’s strategic plan
• Raise the profile of Learning & Development throughout GM&T and work with the Global Head of Resourcing to develop it into a major pillar of the talent attraction and retention strategy
• Ensure that all development activity is in line with corporate strategy, business requirements and complements HR initiatives

Summary:

Gazprom Marketing & Trading Ltd (GM&T) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom and was formed in 1999 to establish a marketing and trading platform in the UK and Western Europe. Since 2004 GM&T has grown rapidly and now employs approximately 350 people in London, Manchester, Paris and Houston.  By exploiting the liberalised energy markets it undertakes wholesale gas trading, retails gas to commercial and large industrial customers and more recently moved into new energy commodities such as LNG, power, oil derivatives and carbon trading. 

Reporting to the Lead Developer in the Front Office Trading Analytics team you will be working closely with the business to develop agile and prototype solution using the standard Microsoft technologies. The Front Office Developer will sit in the business working closely with the Operations and Quants team developing and prototyping quick win business solutions.

This position is responsible for supporting the Settlements Manager in providing a world class settlements service to the rapidly growing business.

• Ensuring the issue of timely and accurate validation of these trades as required by the master agreements and investigating and resolving discrepancies quickly & effectively;
• Production of  invoices for the various commodities and products according to the specific contractual terms by generating sales and pro-forma purchase invoices, including detailed back up;
• Ensure margin calls are validated and paid within timescales;
