Shipping is a global business unit that provides safe, competitive and reliable shipping and cargo management for the multi-commodity trading activities of the GM&T group


The Shipping business unit provides safe, reliable and economical shipping solutions to the Gazprom Marketing & Trading Group. With responsibility for supporting the multi-commodity trading activities of GM&T, shipping a diverse range of products from LNG, LPG, Oil Products and Helium, the S&L team is formed of a highly experienced and innovative team of shipping professionals. 
It is functionally structured around four core activities (click here to learn more):
 - Commercial Operations
 - Shipping Operations
 - Technical & Marine Assurance
 - Chartering 
In addition to transportation by sea, the Shipping team also has full capability for multi-modal land based cargo management, operations and assurance. Providing a "door to door" cargo management service, carrying multiple commodities by rail tank cars, truck and container, this team also manages tank storage agreements throughout Russia and Europe. Through close cooperation with GM&T's trading desks and logistics optimisation, the land based logistics team maximise flexibility and minimise costs to the group whilst supporting the maintenance of refinery outputs at full capacity.
We are full members of OCIMF and sit on the following Forums and Working Groups:
  • East European Terminal Forum
  • Manifold Working Group
  • ICE Forum

We are Associate Members of SIGTTO and attend Panel Meetings

We are full members of CDI and are ISO 9001 accredited.
