BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Alexander Medvedev
Alexander Medvedev has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of GM&T since 2004. In 2005 he was appointed Deputy Chairman of Gazprom's Management Committee, Director General of OOO Gazprom Export. Previously he was the Director of Donau-Bank AG, Austria, Director of IMAG Investment Management & Advisory Group GmbH, Austria and Director General of Gazexport, Member of Gazprom's Management Committee, Moscow.
Mr Medvedev graduated from the Moscow Physics and Technology Institute with a PhD in Economics in 1978. He holds the following honorary degrees and titles: Acting Member of the International Academy of Investments and Construction Economics; Employee of the Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Moscow Institute for Global Economic and Foreign Relations Research of the USSR Academy of Sciences; Senior Researcher, Acting Leader of the Group, Secretary for the Complex Program of Scientific and Technological progress (USSR Academy of Sciences), Moscow.
Andrey Kruglov
Mr Kruglov joined the Board of Directors of Gazprom Marketing & Trading in 2009. Since 2002 he has held the positions of Head of Gazprom's corporate finance department and member of the management committee. In 2003 he became Head of the Department for Finance and Economics, and in 2004 he was appointed Deputy Chairman of Gazprom's Management committee.
Mr Kruglov has a PhD in Economics.
Vitaly Vasiliev
Vitaly Vasiliev has been the Chief Executive Officer of GM&T since 2004. He is responsible for the strategic development of the company in line with Gazprom's global strategy. Vitaly's wide-ranging business experience includes working in a variety of roles for Gazprom Export and Gazprom. Vitaly specialised in International Economics at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and in 2003 completed an MSc. in Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business in the USA.
Andrey Mikhalev
Andrey Mikhalev has been the Managing Director of GM&T since 1999. His team supports Gazprom's growth strategy in liberalising markets.
Prior to this, Andrey was employed in Moscow by Gazprom Export as Deputy Head of Business Development. He has also worked in Turkey and Sweden. During his early career, he worked in several Russian government departments including a front office management group trading chemicals and fertilisers. Andrey graduated from Moscow University of Gas and Oil, and holds a postgraduate degree from the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade, Moscow.
Hans-Joachim Gornig
Hans-Joachim Gornig has been on the Board of Directors of GM&T since 2004.
Mr Gornig has been working in the gas industry since 1967. He was a senior employee and deputy chief executive in the petroleum and gas industry of East Germany and a government delegate for the natural gas pipeline grid construction in the Soviet Union. Gazprom Germania GmbH has been managed by Hans-Joachim Gornig ever since it was founded in 1990. Mr Gornig is also a Managing Director of ZMB GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom Germania GmbH.
Mr Gornig has an MSc in Engineering.
Yuri Komarov
Mr Komarov has been on the Board of Directors of GM&T since 2004.
Since 1996 he has held the positions of General Director of Gazprom Export and Director of the department of Foreign Economic Relations of Gazprom. Between 2002 and 2005 he served as the Deputy Chairman of Gazprom. In 2005 Mr Komarov was appointed General Director of Sevmorneftegaz. Mr Komarov has a PhD in Economics.

Alexey Selikhov
Alexey Selikhov joined GM&T in 2000 as Commercial Manager. He is currently the company's Director of Finance responsible for managing the middle and back office teams.
Keith Martin
Keith Martin joined GM&T in October 2005 as Head of Trading. Keith previously worked for Shell and has more than 15 years of downstream experience. From 2000 to 2005 he headed the gas and power trading business at Shell Energy trading in London where he was responsible for optimising the group's gas and power activities across Europe. In 2007 Keith was appointed Director of Front Office.

Iouri Virobian
President, GM&T France SAS
Iouri Virobian was appointed President of GM&T France in 2006, having been Head of Gazprom Export Representation in France since 2004.
Mr Virobian was formerly Commercial Director of Prodintern and Tumintern in France. In 1978 he joined All-Union Organisation Soyuzgazexport attached to the Ministry of Foreign Trade of the USSR and from 1984-1988 was their representative at the Trade Representation of the USSR in France. He was subsequently appointed Deputy Director of "Spetsgaz" division of Soyuzgazexport in Russia.
Mr Virobian holds a Diploma with Honours from the faculty of International Economics at MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations).
John Hattenberger
President and Managing Director, GM&T USA, Inc.
John Hattenberger is President and Managing Director of GM&T USA, Inc., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of OAO Gazprom, headquartered in Houston, Texas. In this position, which he has held since mid-2005, John is responsible for GM&T's entry into the North American natural gas marketing and trading business.
Prior to joining Gazprom Marketing & Trading USA, Inc., John was Senior Vice President at Marathon Oil Company, where he was responsible for new LNG and natural gas business development activities, both upstream and downstream. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President at El Paso Global LNG, a subsidiary of El Paso Corporation, where he was responsible for world-wide LNG supply activities for El Paso's LNG business. He also held senior positions at TransCanada Pipelines Ltd., and at BP, where he was responsible for natural gas business development, natural gas marketing, and mergers and acquisitions. He also served as the commercial advisor to an LNG project in the Arabian Gulf. John graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering.
Jon Feingold
Managing Director, GM&T Retail
Jon Feingold became Managing Director of GM&T Retail in July 2007. For the past ten years Jon has been the Commercial Director of Pennine Natural Gas and Natural Gas Shipping Services where he developed a supply business which became one of the largest independent gas suppliers in the UK. He has more than 15 years' experience in the retailing of gas to end users.
JoAchim Conrad
Managing Director, GM&T Germania
JoAchim Conrad was appointed Managing Director of GM&T Germania on November 1st 2009. Since 2008, Mr. Conrad has also been a Director of Falcon Oil & Gas (TSVX:FO), a Canadian listed energy company. Prior to this Mr Conrad served in the position of member of the Group Executive Board at Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft Laufenburg AG (EGL), a European energy trading company with its own energy producing assets listed on the Swiss stock exchange (SWX: EGL), where he was responsible for EGL's gas division and South East European Power activities. Along side this he was also a member of the supervisory board of some of EGL's foreign subsidiaries including the Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG, a joint venture of EGL and StatoilHydro. Prior to joining EGL, Mr Conrad was Head of trading at WINGAS GmbH, Germany, a joint venture of Wintershall and Gazprom. He served in various management functions for 10 years in the German Oil & Gas Company Wintershall. Mr. Conrad obtained the rank of First Lieutenant in the German Air Force prior to obtaining a Diplomkaufmann, focus: Economics and Information Technology, Graduation in Artificial Intelligence, from Georg-August Universität in 1992.
