GGES working with our local distributor Cygnet Energy and Power Asia Inc. this week successfully installed a smart metering system at a biogas unit in the Philippines. The BioGas facility is operated by C Trade who provides turnkey biogas to energy projects for animal farm owners, who are not required to provide investment, but benefit from local power generation generated from the gas produced from the digesters.
In discussion with the company's president and founder Dr Prabhu Dayal it was identified that because the projects are financed using the CER's generated from the Biogas, accurate and regular reporting of gas production and power generation is THE key requirement
The initial project installation at their Dodram facility, used GGES's industry leading Safir - GSM data logger for logging biogas production every 30 minutes. As the solution is extended to additional power meters (demand and Load sides) and waste water, GGES's new Low Power Radio solution will be deployed to provide an even more cost effective solution.

CCS Installations (CCS), has become an installation service partner to Gazprom Global Energy Solutions (GGES) after winning a national contract to install gas data logging systems across the UK.
