Gas and Power Origination
Over the past year, GM&T has built a strong Origination team of international energy experts, centred in the UK, but also operating out of offices in Paris and Berlin.
GM&T’s origination team develops structured deals with counterparties across all GM&T markets based on gas, power and carbon products and services. Once concluded, contracts are managed by GM&T’s operational and trading teams, both on a short and long-term basis for periods of six months to 20 years.
Our creative Origination team has a broad range of valuable products and services for energy clients across Europe. Our products and services include:

- Swaps
- Options
- Hedges
- Storage
- Transportation deals
Products can be single or multi-commodity, national or cross-border, physical or financial and can be structured for wholesale or industrial partners, exchanges or power generators. We can also provide in-depth support in the structuring and development of power station projects.
